Reply please!

Is that a 1520 out of 2400? If so, unless you have an outstanding and I’m mean literally outstanding portfolio that you submit, it’s going to be a huge reach.

Do you need a lot of financial aid?

If so, NYU is either a reach or out of reach – it has a reputation of usually offering poor financial aid, so that accepted students who need a lot of financial aid are often not able to attend, or would need to take excessively large amounts of student loans to attend. Acceptance with insufficient financial aid is as good as a rejection.

Oh lol trust me I know about the SAT score… some stuff happened that day but it will improve. But hypothetically, if I had a higher score what are my chances?

Your SAT would need to be 1900+

And it’s hard to chance Tisch applicants, as they care just as much about your portfolio as they do about your grades. So you’ll first need to meet NYU academic standards (meaning in this case, a 25th percentile SAT score of around 1900) then Tisch will consider your portfolio, which is what will make or break your application.
