<p>Hello!! I've already submitted some of my apps, but I'm just curious as far as how I measure up with other candidates! I'm a Caucasian girl in a suburban environment.</p>

<p>ACADEMICS
GPA: UW 4.0 our school doesn't do weighted
RANK: 1/463
AP EXAMS: Euro (5 -10th grade), Calc AB (5 - 11th grade), US Hist (5 -11th grade), Lang (5-11th grade), expect to take: Spanish, Lit, Calc BC, Gov this year
ACT SCORE: 34 (not super scored), didn't take SAT
PSAT Natl Merit Commended Student</p>

<p>EXTRA CURRIC:
-Secretary in Girl Scout troop for 8 years, head planner for 3 day,2 night GS camp every year
-HS Chair for local youth advisory board since 8th grade, plan events for community and give input on municipal functions (personally served as youth liaison on parks board)
-President/Sec of Staff in JSA club at my school since 10th grade (debate club, planned/lead weekly meetings, organized club for 3 weekend trips, organized a day long debate conference)
-Senior Council Rep - met weekly and plan events for senior class (including prom)
-Actress in Russian theater since 6th grade, have acted lead roles in fluent Russian through middle school, now mostly mentor and help teach classes, sometimes I work as a birthday party hostess</p>

<p>LETTERS/ESSAYS
-letters should be good - I asked teachers I came in a lot outside of school to get help and participated in their class
-essays - probably good i think? idk i find it hard to judge my own essays but my friends have said they present a perfect characterization of me and I have had a couple English teachers look at them</p>

<p>I'm applying for Political Science major in all these schools and my essays heavily reference this (like talk about what i want to do with my life and why i chose polisci)
Reasonably, I'm looking at NYU as my top choice, but its price is very scary ngl</p>

<p>yo friends so my essays ok basically i talk about politics for one of them for each school and like feminism and then the third one is about music just bc im a huge patron of a lot of radio stations/musicians etc etc and like it clearly isnt on my app bc im tone deaf and don’t play instruments/sing and i just kind of appreciate music as opposed to anything really. i wish i got more involved in an activity that related but it’s always been more of a retreat from life rly so uh yeah i guess that’s more insight into my essays idk</p>

Your ACT, rank, and UW GPA are excellent irrespective of where you apply. Your extracurricular activities are very good as well, especially the Russian theater activity, which seems very unique.</p>

<p>yo boby yeah i feel u but im just saying that i have multiple supplements for each college like obviously each essay is it’s own topic but the essays across the board have varying ones if that makes sense.</p>

<p>I’d say NYU is a match, and Fordham is a safety. You’ve got the grades to be considered for Ivies but they always choose based on random stuff</p>

<p>Your ECs and awards seem above average, a lot of leadership and such. You have a pretty good shot at Stanford and Columbia, although they are both competitive. You might want to apply to more schools if you can. I know I would if I had your stats.</p>
