Feel free to offer any opinions I would appreciate all the help I could get! Will return the favor!

yeah i think NYU could go either way. your gpa might be a little low and EC's aren't going to blow the adcoms out of the water, except starting the swim team is notable. i think you have a good chance.

In at SUNY's, Colgate, Rochester. Slight reach at BC and Carnegie Mellon due to low GPA. Reach at NYU. Knock the SAT's up to a 2100 and you may have a better shot.

Your GPA isn't as high as it probably could be. The ECs don't really stand out, except for the starting of the swim tea. I think that everything is possible, but with a slight reach at BC, Carnegie Mellon and NYU.

Anyway, Bing is going to increasingly harder to get into considering the economy and the average admitted is 90-95. I wouldn't say it's a safety but it's a good match.

SUNY Stonybrook - Safety
Colgate University - Reach
University of Rochester - Match
New York University - Really can go anyway
Carnegie Mellon - Reach
Boston College - Reach

i'm not sure about the other schools, but for NYU i feel like it's a good match. i've seen people with lower stats than you get into NYU. good luck (:
