<p>NYU is my dream school. I want to apply to NYU Steinhardt and major in media, culture, and communication (it's one major). And I'm going to apply ED.
I go to a top 10 public high school in Connecticut.
-SAT I: 2030 the first time, I'm still not sure if I'm going to take it again
-ACT: Just took them this past weekend, so we'll see!
-UW GPA: 3.85
-Class Rank: My school doesn't rank, but I think we might be able to find out at the end of this year..
-Senior Year Courseload: AP Psychology, AP Statistics, AP Art, Meteorology, Government and Politics, Themes in World Lit. H, Moral Issues in World Lit. H (I took Spanish IV H this year, so I'm not taking it next year)
(I've taken all honors in all my other classes, except for science....I can't stand science)
-Awards: Excellence in Global History, Achievement in Physics, Achievement in Computer Art, and not really an award, but I designed a logo that won a contest which included prize money and a write-up in the town paper.
-ECs: Varsity Tennis, Digital Media Club, People to People Student Ambassador
-Job/Work Experience: I've worked at a bakery/cafe in my town since August 2010
-Volunteer Service/Summer Activities: I did some service when I was in Greece with a group called People to People. This trip included traveling through Greece, Italy, Austria, and Germany. It was a student group where we learned a lot about the cultures. I went on another trip last summer through Rustic Pathways to Costa Rica. We helped build a foundation for a new school building, and painted a different school. Then the usual fundraising, like Relay For Life.
-I'm getting three teacher recommendations, and those should be good.
Also, I might be sending in my photography portfolio (after I finish AP Art) since I might like to minor in that. </p>

<p>Another school I'm considering if I don't get in NYU is Lehigh, so you could chance me for that too. :]</p>

<p>I would say you have a pretty good chance. Where do you go in CT? lemme guess, you sound like a weston kid haha. I’m from Newtown(i lived there ten years, now i live in MI), it’s not that great but its pretty good, at least in terms of course offerings/how hard it is.</p>
