<p>Hey, I'd like you guys to weigh my chances for NYU. I want to major in Russian Language.</p>

<p>STATS:
-1830 SAT (First try, no prep)
-3.1 UW
-AP Classes taken: AP World, AP Euro, AP Psych, AP Spanish, AP English Comp, AP Human Geo, AP Chem</p>

<p>EC's:
-JV Football 9th and 10th grade
-Marine Corps JROTC 11th grade
UIL Academic competition 10th and 11th grade.</p>

<p>Volunteer Work:
I do some occasional stuff for my school.</p>

<p>I won a couple of ribbions at UIL competitions.</p>

<p>I'm hoping to get at least a 30 on the ACT and a 2100 on the SAT in October with enough prep.</p>

<p>Try to get your GPA up, and also get a solid volunteer program. Get more ECs and turn the JV Football to Varsity. You have to get a really good SAT score atleast 2100+ to make up for your GPA. Good Luck! Chance me back if you can!</p>
