I honestly don’t know much at all as a senior myself, but from what I can see and what others say, you shouldn’t have a problem getting in. I would be pretty confident if I were you.

Based solely on your grades, it’s more of a 75% chance you’ll get in. However, you have good EC’s, and if it’s possible to write about your internship, go for it. I don’t think legacy matters with public schools (at least they don’t in Florida). Also, you’re an in-state student, so the school would definitely want to have you. (That’s why schools generally have higher requirements for scholarships for out-of state students than in-state.) As long as the recommendations are good and you don’t have any smudges on your record, then you have a very high chance on getting in. I think writing about your internship should set you apart from other applicants with the same grades & scores.

I think your gpa and legacy will help you get in, however, you have a relatively low ACT score for admission and not a whole lot of ECs. I would say you have a pretty good shot, but also have some other target schools. Good luck!

As someone who has grown up around OSU and knows QUITE a few people that go to OSU, I would say that you match up to many of the current students. Therefore, I would say that you would be a match. Good luck and I hope you get accepted into and enjoy Buckeye nation (and the freezing Ohio winters)!

I think even without your parents as legacy (as state schools don’t view at as a huge game-changer) you shouldn’t have trouble getting in. Your gpa is above average for the school and ECs are good. I hope you get in! Thanks for chancing me.
