SAT IIs:
US History: 690 (not sure that happened since I took it the day after the AP test, which I got a 5 on)
Literature: 730

I know my Math SAT score is a little weak, as is my SAT II score, but math isn't exactly an integral part of studying literature, so will it still hurt my chances? Also, any tips when it comes to submitting a piece of written work? Also, what's the ELAT like? And what is the interview process like for English Language & Literature?

If you google ELAT you will find several sites with test papers and marking criteria. Also check out the UK version of CC google ‘the student room’ -there are plenty of threads there about applying to Oxford and the admissions tests.

I’m not sure how Oxford view non relevant subjects such as Maths as you are applying for English and UK students wanting to study English will not have done any Maths since they were 16 unless they did the IB rather than A levels. The Oxford university site has lots of information on relevant subjects/grades. Good luck if you intend to apply. I think the ELAT test is on Nov 2 this year.

Good advice from pemphredo re checking out the student room site. The math will count for nought - don’t worry about it. Make sure your personal statement focuses totally on your commitment to the study of literature and try to demonstrate (in PS and in interview ) how you’ve ’ read around your subject’ .
