I'm think i should be able to get a good rec from my teacher. good essays( we did sample essays in English and my teacher thought it would be excellent if i made a few corrections. )

Research and passion for biology is what i plan on emphasizing on my personal statement.
hopefully i will also have an awesome reference from a teacher who will also mention my achievements in research.

will also be published in a research paper at some point in the future- i could mention this is in my personal statement or the reference.

irrelevant

within range. They will ignore anything not science related.

These are the only relevant grades, and they will ignore non-science APs. I have put a * next to the only ones I think they will be bothered about for a Biology applicant.
These are the A-level subjects they like (and hence the best AP subjects to choose)

<a href=“Trinity College Cambridge | University of Cambridge”>Trinity College Cambridge | University of Cambridge;

This is good. All other ECs irrelevant and if you fill up your application writing about them, you will just look like an unfocussed student who does not spend enough time studying.

Some of these might be good, but not if you were 12! I would probably only include the 2008 one.

Make sure it is your Bio/science teacher. Get them to write about why you would be a good scientist/science student.

well that was a huge waste of time then. I think you had better review how the application process works. No essays necessary.
[Biological Sciences - How to apply - University of Oxford](http://www.ox.ac.uk/admissions/undergraduate_courses/courses/biological_sciences/biological_science_2.html)

Yes that is what they are looking for. “I want to study Biology because…”. Try to sound serious and studious. Do NOT describe any personal journeys and the like(unless you want them to think you are seriously unhinged…)

I would put this in the personal statment, but if the person writing the reference knows about this, then I don’t see why they can’t write about it as well. Definitely put this in somewhere though.

thanks for the detailed answer cupcake!! I’ll look into my personal statement stuff and the reference stuff.
