@FunnyFlamer45 I’m just a fellow applicant, so my opinion may not be as valid, BUT WOW. Your extracurriculars are amazing, same as your score. I’d say you have a really great chance!

@ezpeaohgee I also had the privilege of looking through your post - and I say the same to you!

@FunnyFlamer45 Thanks! I wouldn’t say I’m on your caliber by any means? You really have gotten a lot done in your life, which is something to be really proud of! Everything looks perfect in your application from what I can see!

Wow! Your EC’s and stats are amazing! I know results come out tomorrow so wishing you the best of luck! Make sure to update us on how they go!

I know a bunch of kids applying for the same schools you are but have lower (everything) than you so I wouldn’t be worried!

Please don’t tell me Peddie, Lawrenceville, and PEA are the only schools you are applying to

@rawrxdlol, this is a crappy situation for me - I got waitlisted for every school I applied to besides Lawrenceville, of which I got rejected. Could you please explain why I got into this situation?

We can’t tell you that. What I can say is that your profile looks very familiar. What I mean is that there are lots of kids with similar stats, grades, ecs. It’s hard to stand out today with everyone in overachieving overdrive.

Keep doing what you love, good luck.

@FunnyFlamer45 In your opinion, how do you think your interviews went?

@ezpeaohgee , for peddie, the interviewer and I hit off right off the bat, but she kept saying “wow” or “okay” every time I spoke, so idk how that went. For Lawrenceville, the interviewer really liked me, and we had a long conversation. For Exeter, the interviewer and I just spend 20 minutes, so it was crappy, but the answers I gave were pretty interesting, so maybe just the other person?

FunnyFlamer,
I really dont know why!
You have better overall stats than my son.(i dont know your teachers recs)
My son got accepted at Peddie and he is very happy about that.
I wish you good luck. You appear to be a very smart kid!

I’m so sorry.
My daughter also was rejected from one school and Waitlisted at 3.
But she applied to 12.
So from where I sit, I think the problem may be as simple as: you only applied to 3 schools.
I truly hope that you find comfort in that, not criticism. I just want you to know that great kids get rejections because the odds are just that hard. We could easily be in your shoes if we had just applied to the wrong 4 of her 12. You might have just applied to the wrong 3, and you didn’t put in an application at the handful of schools who would have loved to have you.
