Chance me for Penn CAS ED

Hi guys... I'm currently a rising senior, and am planning on applying to CAS for early decision. I would really appreciate any replies!

School: Large, public high school in NJ (block scheduling so you can't really take a lot of APs)
Race: Caucasian

Academic:
GPA- 4.05(UW), 4.34 (W) (My school had a weird scale freshman year, so now it's impossible to have over a 4.0 uw)
Never gotten anything lower than an A in mainly honors and APs.

APs- Stat (4), English Lang (5)

PSAT-National Merit Commended from NJ

SAT- 2290 Superscore (800 CR, 750 M, 740 W)
Planning to take Sat IIs (Math II and Spanish) in October and Spanish w/ listening in Nov.

Senior year schedule- AP Calc BC, AP Physics C, AP Spanish Lang, a bunch of honors electives (most rigourous course load possible for this year)

EC's-

Thanks for any chances!

youll never get in

it sounds fine to me, the college isn’t hard to get into like wharton.

Bump… Bump…

My school has block scheduling as well, I hate it because I can only take 3 AP classes my senior year. Study a lot for those SAT IIs, they will help. Your scores are good and your GPA are great. You are involved in a lot of activities, try to focus on one or two to show your passion for them in your application. See if you can get another leadership position or two.

Bump…

bump…

You will never get in

ya dude ur done for u have no shot at penn. try …sewanee: the university of the south!

im doing the same thing…college of arts and sciences early decision…hope to cya there one day!

I think you have a chance. I would make sure your counselor emphasize that this was the hardest courseload possible given the circumstances of block scheduling. And it will be better if you are ranked higher.

My Sat score was 2200 with lousy sat ii scores of 540 spanish, 640 chem and 690 math ii

I was waitlisted for RD(CAS) but later got in.

You might want to consider applying RD as if there are competitions or stuff after the ED deadline you want to report on your application to help boost it.

But the main thing though above all else is the essay, make sure you show why you want to go to Penn and really why should penn want you.

bump…

You’ll get in only if you suck Furda’s ****.
