<p>My first choice is UPenn SEAS (bioengineering), but I'm also applying to Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Brown, Johns Hopkins, and Tufts for biomedical engineering, all regular decision (I couldn't do ED because of financial aid). I'm a girl, white, and from NY.</p>

<p>Your scores are a little weak for the very top tier schools like Harvard, but your GPA and EC’s (especially ones pertaining to science and research) are strong and reflect areas of interest. Emphasize those in essays and I’d say you have a great shot at JHU and Tufts, and decent chances at Brown and UPenn.</p>

<p>Some schools are definitely reaches like Harvard, Yale, and Brown. However, not by much. I believe if you accurately portray your interest through unique essay they have potential to be high match schools. As an NY resident, I recommend applying RD to CoE at Cornell. <p>I think JHU and Tufts are reasonable reaches. The ivies are a major longshot with the 700 CR and no stand out EC coming from an overrepresented state.</p>
