I am confident in my writing skills for the essay portion

Any suggestions?

It’s a reach right now. Raise the ACT to 27-28 and you’d have a much better chance.

Take the SAT and retake the ACT. The class of 2013’s mean ACT was a 30 and GPA was 3.7. I was accepted with a 3.7 and around an 1800.
Boost your scores and work hard on your GPA first semester.
Do you have any leadership positions in those clubs? That would help.
Community service?

Is the 3.7 weighted or unweighted?

I am pretty sure I can get a 2100 on the SAT and a 30 on the ACT.

In the clubs I do not hold a leadership position.

and about 100 hours of community service.

Both 3.7s are weighted I believe.

It’s early in the school year, try to get a leadership position. If you can’t, find a service group you can be a leader in. I find that it really counts.

Okay, thank you for the information, I’ll try to find a leadership position.

Final bump, thanks for the input thus far.
