Please let me know what you think. I really want to go to Pepperdine because I want a change from New Jersey and would love to live and learn at such a beautiful school. I cannot take four more years of cold weather. I'm not super religious, but I serve God.

Major/minor possibilities: Advertising, Marketing, Film studies, Hispanic Studies, Multimedia design, International business

I would LOVE to become fluent in Spanish as well, and would love to take advantage of Pepp's study abroad program so I can learn the language. I am taking two Spanish 5 classes senior year, AP Spanish 5, and Honors Spanish 5, which is a conversational class that teaches us fluency.

Please give me feedback! I hope I get in!

You have a good chance but a very important factor is also the essays.

You may want to read the “Waitlisted” thread and understand that many students with your credentials and better did not make the cut. It is very difficult to understand all of the factors but MedalLilly is correct the essays are probably very important.

Lookin’ good. Great extracurriculars, which is where a lot of rejected/waitlisted students fall short. Pepperdine rejects plenty of students with great GPAs and SATs who don’t seem “well-rounded.”

Focus on why Pepperdine is a great match for you in your essays. Everyone knows the campus is beautiful. What will you offer the university?

Update: 28 on ACT and 5 on AP US history exam (I don’t know how I did, but I did)

Congrats on AP U.S.! That thing’s hard :]
