EC: MSPCA-Angell, ASPCA, Asian Club (president), Badminton Club (president), National Honors Society, School tutor, Varsity tennis (captain), tennis coach for blind players, teacher at an MIT program
The main highlight of my ECs is the MSPCA, where I have been a volunteer/worker for over 3 years. I specialize in the avian section of the animal shelter.</p>

<p>Also is there a higher chance for me to get into NEU because I'm in state or the fact that I go to a large urban high school?
Every year, about 10-20 people from my HS go to Harvard and a large number go to other Ivies. Someone told me because my school is urban and that students have a higher chance because my school isn't competitive like Boston Latin School, Lexington HS, ...</p>

<p>I think you’ll be solid for all three. You’re definitely way above average for USciences, and the in-state benefit is there for Northeastern. URI is also a slam dunk.
