I'm going into 8th grade and I want to apply for 9th, but I'm not sure if I should because I don't have any giant hooks (maybe a few small ones) and my grades aren't amazing. I wanted to see what people said either way.

I go to an all-girls school.
My grades:
Trimester 1
All A's except a B in Science
Trimester 2
All A's except a B in Science, Latin, and French
Trimester 3
All A's except a B in Science in French, and a C in Latin

Next year I'm moving up to AP Math (the only AP at my school).

At my school I'm the 'Sustainability Director' (basically the head of green club)

I've done a lot of community service through my school. I've sold plants and gotten stores to donate to a girls school in Afghanistan, picked trash out of a stream near my school, gotten kids at my school to bring in canned food for the food pantry nearby, etc.

I've been ice skating for 9 years, but I've also tried out field hockey, basketball, and ice hockey recently.

I've doing CTY (center for talented youth) programs for the past two years.

Obviously, I plan on improving my stats next year. However, I won't really have any opportunities for leadership because I'll be moving halfway through the year. So tell me what you think . . .
