Stanford - high reach
Berkeley - high reach
L.A. - high reach
San Diego - low reach
Davis - match

If your unweighted GPA was higher then Berkeley and L.A. would most likely take you, mainly because your major is very competitive. Same with Stanford, but your SAT score needs to be higher to have a better chance. Davis & San Diego are really good possibilities for you, though

If you’re a California resident,
Stanford- mid/high reach (chance for all applicants)
Berkeley- low reach
LA-high match
San Diego- match
Davis- match

For UC’s, physics is under college of letters and sciences (basically major isn’t even a factor for admission). A 2290 puts you ABOVE the 75th percentile of Cal admits for 2013. and a 4.29 is slightly below average, as is a 3.79. You’re kinda lacking in AP’s and EC’s but other than that everything looks good(Assuming that your UC GPA was calculated correctly and actually is a 4.29)! don’t know much about stanford tho.

Going off what the previous people posted, if I were you I would aim for getting a higher unweighted GPA for right now. Other than that, you look fine.
