I have a strong passion in the medical field, and I've been doing medical related activities and camps since 4th grade.

As you said, your GPA needs a bit of a boost. Your ECs are good, especially the research internship. But Harvard and UPenn especially are very selective. Apply but don’t forget to try out less-selective schools. Good luck!

I assure your GPA at 4.2 is weighted. What is your uw GPA in 4.0 max scale?
Your SAT score is very good but average for top schools. For safety schools, you may look at any schools with your stat above their mid 50 range (75%). Most important for a safety school is that it not only admit you, but it is also affordable to you and you are willing to go there.

You have a good chance at all 4. Ur EC’s are great and really present a theme. If you raise your SAT scores you will have an even better possibility of getting into those schools. Good luck!!! :)

Of your four top choices, Johns Hopkins seems to offer the best chance with the highest early acceptance rate. Confirm that with your GC and Naviance, then spend your valuable time learning everything about Hopkins (or other top choice) and getting to know your regional Hopkins adcom and crafting a PERFECT application targeted to Hopkins, then apply to Hopkins ED. Focus the rest of your college efforts on finding and applying to some great target and safety schools. If Hopkins rejects or defers in December be ready to apply to a couple more reach schools like Duke or UPenn over Xmas break.

Edited to add: Of course, make sure your family is comfortable with a binding application and with FA projection before applying early. Harvard is non-binding SCEA with likely more FA, but more selective and a more competitive applicant pool.
