That's all I can think of off the top of my head. There are probably more things that I could include on this list, but I'm currently cramming for AP Psych, so I wanted to blaze through this. Also, my mother and three of her brothers did go to Princeton, so I am a legacy; I'm not sure if that is in any way important, but I felt like I should mention it. Anyway, if you could tell me my chances at any of those schools, especially Princeton, I would be most grateful :D.

Legacy is very important at Princeton, it almost triples your chances. You have a strong shot there.

AP’s are good and stuff. But you don’t have an UW GPA (WGPA varies too much).

The spokesman and trustee thing sounds good, really good. But you should get some leadership positions. SAT’s are okay, SAT II’s good.
Ranks good, but is that even like top 5% in a class of 70 lol?

But yeah with legacy, a crapshot reach, like every other app they get.

Thanks for your response HONORLIONS, but can you please elaborate on “leadership positions”? Do you mean like head of a certain club or group?

Oh and for what it’s worth, 3rd in a class of 70 is top 4.28% of the class, but for all I know I could be higher :P

Yeah no offense, but they’re just gonna see your 3/70 at top 4%. 3 outta 70 ain’t thaaaat great lmao.

And yeah, like become secreatary, treasurer, president, vice president, etc. of a club or something like shift manager as a hospital volunteer or something.

are you getting recruited for table tennis?

Nope, I do not believe my rating is high enough to be recruited (1650), but I may be able to join the team as a walk-on if I continue to train.

I would’ve said you would had almost no shot, but CFS and your legacy status (your uncles technically aren’t legacies) makes your case quite unique. If you can portray CFS as not an excuse but as a challenge you overcame, things might turn out differently.

I totally agree geekorathletic. Obviously, my unique situation has prevented me from obtaining the RIDICULOUS amount of ecs that similar applicants have, but I am hoping to show the admissions office that I was able to do what I did despite the challenges that I have experienced.

So now I have a pretty basic understanding that Princeton is a definite reach, but what about some of the other schools on the list (my father went to Penn btw)? Any help would be appreciated, and I will chance back!

Same for Penn. I don’t know anything about the other schools.
