<p>chance me for Princeton? my dream school but definitely a reach!!
also applied to GW, Emory, Cornell, Wesleyan, NYU.
got into Tulane, BC, Northeastern EA (and was admitted to honors programs at all)</p>

<p>SAT: 2190 (690 CR, 720 M, 780 W)
SAT II: 760 Math II, 700 Lit
GPA: 4.77/5 weighted, not sure about exact unweighted (3.85-3.9ish)
** One B- overall in freshman math is what killed me!
Class Rank: 18/331 @ very competitive Massachusetts public school
ECs: 16hr/week job at local pizza store, youth group & planned holiday giving tree & did summer mission work & taught vacation bible school at church, steady babysitting job, Tri M, Relay For Life, play flute competitively
APs: 4 in World History; currently taking AP Psychology, AP English Lit, AP Latin Vergil, AP Calc BC
Teacher Recs: Did not read them but should be fantastic.
Counselor Rec: No idea, didn't know her too well. should be ok
Essays: My common app essay was phenomenal (or I loved it anyway :) ), supplemental essays were strong but probably not the best best best.
Not a lot of awards. I was a commended national merit scholar, freshman history student of the year, my flute quartet was awarded a gold medal at a festival....</p>

<p>I am a white female, middle class, dad went to Wesleyan (does legacy help there?)</p>

<p>also, for princeton only-
interview went pretty well, although my interviewer insisted on talking for most of it....
BUT i had a small typo in a supplement ( i wrote "know" when i should have written "now," careless i know...)</p>

<p>I realistically think it’s doubtful, your SAT seems low and there’s not a hook. The typo will not make/break you IMO. Although, something you should know (now)is that Princeton does not look at freshman grades.(I think) Also, your rank seems a bit low, although I go to a public school. Still, 17 people at your school have done better academically.</p>

<p>I think you have solid shots at Emory NYU and Cornell, idk much about other schools. </p>

<p>My advice is to not get your hopes up, but anything is possible. </p>

<p>Good list of schools, might look at Holy Cross-similar to BC. Holy Cross has very good academics and nice campus with January 15th application due date.</p>

<p>Honestly, your chances aren’texactly great, but you still got a shot nevertheless. Your SAT is good, but not excellent, as your ECs and other stats.</p>
