Possibly go on tour with the band to countries in Europe or Asia if I make the top level concert band or Jazz band (I have a really good shot)

I know my extracurriculars are weak atm, I’m aiming to go to state for Mathletes and Scholastic bowl sometime during Soph-Senior years, and I’m not exactly sure how Mu Alpha Theta and Science Olympiad work, but they seem interesting and were recommended to me. During Junior-Senior Year I take a bunch of IB classes. During Freshman year preliminary testing I got a projected score of a 32 on the ACT, but I know I can bring that up. Currently Rank 11/688 in Weighted GPA (6.0 on a 7 point scale), 4.0 UW (hoping to continue that as long as I can lol) and I will be tied for first once 2nd semester ends. If I get straight As sophomore year I will be sole rank one going into Junior year due to me skipping honors chem. (It makes my Gpa slightly higher than everyone else because my average is divided by a smaller number)

Both my parents went to graduate school at Princeton, and my sister completed her undergrad degree at Princeton. Both my parents immigrated from Japan to live in the US. (Legacy?)

At the rate things are going, what should I change to maximize my chances?

Do you like what you’re doing?

They are just average ECs that everyone does, find something cool that you really like.

Yeah I like what I am doing I guess. My school has an underwater robotics club that I kinda wanna check out, and my friends are in cyber security club and they did really well this year so I might join. In terms of stuff I do that isn’t directly affiliated with school, I like building things (IDK if that counts as an EC) but like I recently built a semi realistic Trojan Horse that is about 5ft 6 inches out of PVC, spray foam, and paint, in 6th grade I built a wearable foam Iron man suit that lit up and stuff. I make props for people’s costumes and things. My real passion is making things for people to enjoy, whether it be music (like my saxophone) or objects that I build.
