Texas- Thanks. People keep recommending JHU ED, and I can understand why, but seeing as it is NOT my first choice, I’m slightly afraid of being accepted and commited. I know it’s risky, but I’d rather hold out for Princeton and WM. And I am redo-ing Math II in October!
Bringitback-- I put my UW GPA as a 4.0? Haha, I’ve had straight A’s throughout high school. :)

Your standardized test scores seem quite low for Princeton, and you seem to have many ECs with not to much depth. Princeton seems like a very high reach, but still apply. JH seems really good though i would say low reach? Just my humble opinion, of course! Please chance back if you can!

Ned- My SATs seem low to you? Granted, my Subject Tests could’ve been better, but I scored 10 points away from perfect in CR and 30 away in Writing. How are these scores considered “low”? I’ve looked up Princeton’s stats, and with all due respect my scores seem to hold their own. You are correct about my ECs, I worry about my depth all the time. JHU is a good option, I’m glad you agree!

It is all about risk and reward. JHU ED seems like a surething but if you want to try Princeton EA, you made that choice! I am not certain JHU RD is a surething but being a Maryland resident you should know if they accept people with your stats from your school on a regular basis in RD.

I may be missing some things, but that’s my general resume. What do you all think?
Please be honest, and I would especially appreciate your insight if you have applied to any of the above schools. My top 2 right now are W&M and Princeton.
Thanks!

Even with updated scores, ECs are still weak. Pretty decent chances at W&M, but Princeton is still a high reach.

To the top!

Update: I’ve probably gotten all the input I’m going to get, haha, but I just got my AP scores and I got straight 5’s (Lit, Bio, Gov’t). If that helps.
