Reach/Hard Target:

Pitt, rolling admission

Target:

Penn State, Early Action (YES to summer sessions consideration)

Safety:

Temple (Accepted)

Shippensburg (Accepted)

If you applied, you’ll know soon enough but they state the unweighted GPA for summer / fall at UP is 3.59-3.93. So I’d imagine that makes it a slight reach, more so than Pitt because your weighted GPA there is a tick above the 25th percentile.

That you got into Shippensburg and Temple is great. So you’ve got options. You might consider WVU as well - if you want another big school option. Good lucck.

What major?

I submitted my application undecided

I’d say it’s 50-50 thanks to checking Summer Session. Rigor is good but not extraordinary, for instance, and your GPA+rigor =2/3 of the decision (in the past at least: Admissions was overhauled this year).
If they direct you to a branch campus, come back here so we can brainstorm what major could replaces DUS.

There’s a good chance you’re getting in. I know someone who got in with a GPA that was much lower and no AP’s or honors classes. They were out of state too.
