Chance me for Questbridge?

Hi, I recently discovered the QuestBridge Scholarship and am incredibly interested in applying. However, when reading about the past QuestBridge scholars they all seem so incredibly more academically successful than me.

So I am currently a Junior and this is my info:

Top 20% percent of my class ( My school does not give out specific rank)

I know these are really bad, but I have been practicing a lot and on all my practice tests I have had much higher scores, like all in the mid 600's and writing a 730.

Life Experiences:
Incredibly long story short, I have never really lived with my parents. My 3 siblings and all have similar stories, after living with our parents for a month or two we would be dumped on our grandparents. My mother is severely mentally ill and my father is the most irresponsible man I have ever met. For these reasons, we have only had small periods in our lives when our parents would live nearby us or live with my grandparents and us. On top of this, once they divorced when I was six I rarely ever saw my father because he no longer had a marriage tying himself to us. What really didnt help were both of their involvements in numerous illegal things (I am not going to clarify). At the time when I was born, my grandparents had some saving and a condo which they had saved for for years. Now, however their savings have dwindled to nothing and my grandfather has been forced to work into is late 60's. We really dont have any contact with my parents. Before I go on and on any longer, the moral of the story is that I have absolutely no funding for my college education and neither do my siblings. Zip.

Lastly, I would be a first generation college student since neither of my parents got college degrees and my father dropped out of highschool. And we make well under $60,000 and have little savings.

Sorry if this was ridiculously long, but I sincerely appreciate any and all feedback. I have worked as hard as I possibly could have and will continue. My dream is to attend Wellesley College and double major in international relations and affaris and arabic with a minor in middle eastern studies. Fort the past few years I have become incredibly interested in middle eastern culture, politics and the current issue and would love to work in an embassy. I also see joining the peace corps in my future. Thanks so much again!

BBuummpp anyone?

yes you have a great shot! Keep up the great school work!!!
