<p>I think you have a great chance--just make sure you show a sincere interest. Last year my daughter had wonderful scores/ECs/recs (2290 SAT, 35ACT, Newspaper editor, play director, YMCA soccer coach/volunteer, National Merit Finalist, etc.) Wash U. waitlisted her, perhaps sensing her ambivalence about the school. (It was my idea she apply there.) She had never visited, never contacted anyone there. Nothing. If they figured she wasn't interested, they would have been right. So, if you're truly interested, make sure you show it! Good luck!</p>
