I also have some work experience - I've been a part of my mother's small business since I was10, just learning some administrative tasks & how the business world works .

honestly, i think you have a great chance

Thank yoU! So much! would you like a chance back?

do you think that it would help if you take summer classes in high school at another ivy school (like brown) if you are applying to a different school (lets say columbia)? does it have to be ivy to be considered (like can you take classes in the summer at wellesley and have it help your admission when you’re applying to columbia, or for them to consider it must it be ivy and/or from the school you’re applying to?) Thanks.

I think it depends. I just liked Brown’s summer programs better, so I did those. I am including them on my Brown App and maybe talking about how I fell in love with the campus and the town while (because I did…Stanford, Columbia, and Brown were my top three.) But I think generally, colleges just like to see that you’re not totally slacking over the summer, so any summer course should be fine to put on your app.

@neversaynever thanks for the offerr! i applied ED and got deferred so i think another chance would be nice. i’ll let you know when i post it up! thanks again

you have a great chance. and since stanford usually just accepts or rejects and defers only those they really think will have a good chance, then you probably have a good chance for stanford as well

thank you so much for all your posts! would anybody like a chance back?
