MIT
Stanford
Michigan (Got deferred--but I didn't send them notification of Intel until after I was deferred)

Your stats are good and I believe you will have no trouble getting into your schools. As for Stanford and MIT, they are always reach schools no matter how good your stats are, but you look like you have a decent shot. Good luck.

Michigan could be reach just because your out of state, but it’s always possible. otherwise i’d say your stats look really do so you can get in to the other schools…

chance me?

Your ECs are pretty weak, and your SAT I score isn’t outstanding enough for Stanford/MIT standards (especially since you’re Asian). You’re definitely in at UMichigan though, even considering the fact that you’re out-of-state.

Everything seems great other than your GPA (which is average or slightly below) and your ECs, which are really weak.

I got into University of Michigan Early Action despite the fact that I have a 2150 SAT (2290 super-scored but Mich was the only university I applied to that doesn’t super-score), and EXCEPTIONALLY crappy grades in the freshman year. I’m an OOS international. You can check out my profile and chance me back! You should also look at the Mich forums. There are a few threads about the different deferral letters and which ones are the good/mediocre/bad.

I think you should be able to get into most of those schools. Keep up the good work :)
