lived in illinois for 16 years then moved to singapore, but im a US citizen and I think I still count as instate.

what do you think? Im really stressed about it cus its the school I want to go to... don't ask me why I didn't do priority lol.

y didnt u do priority?????y DIDNT U?? lol..id say ur sure IN with those stats in RD, those scores are amazing. id even say, y dont u aim higher?

Looking at your stats I'd say you're pretty much in. :)
Priority filing doesn't really mean all that much. You just get to hear back from them earlier :)
Good luck

lol I know im such an idiot this is srsly like the school I've wanted to go to for years....and its the best value school I could get into cus of instate tuition. blargh I'd better get in haha

i too got in Chem E, with 250 less on SAT and 100 less on my top 2 SAT II similar GPA but probably slightly better EC's and i think my essays were pretty good.
as long as your essays arent terrible and the Chem E applicant pool doesnt become absurdly hard for regular decision, i'd say you're in

what? no, I think I am instate- this is from the illinois residency determination website

F. The minor child of persons who, having resided in this state for at least twelve months immediately prior to such a transfer, are transferred by their employers to some location outside the United States shall be considered an Illinois resident for purposes of the computation and payment of tuition. However, this Section shall apply only when the minor child of such parents enrolls in a state-supported college or university within five years from the time the parents are transferred to some location outside the United States.

I lived in illinois for 16 years then my dad was transferred to Singapore soo...yeah

Oh never mind, I just assumed you would fall under the category of having to live in the state for a year first. It looks like you should be a resident.
