Chance me for Regular Decision?

<p>I got chanced a little while ago, but some of my stats have changed.</p>

<p>Weighted GPA: 4.023
Unweighted GPA: 3.5
SAT I: M-620 CR-740 W-800
Top 25% of my class
Top 100 Public High School
Full International Baccalaureate Diploma Candidiate
Had an interview at Smith; think it went very well
Lots of Extra Currics and Leadership Positions; particularly involved in Drama, started the National English Honor Society at my school, etc.
English Lit major
Good Essay--I want to be a professional writer

<p>Smith meets 100% of your need calculated by them of course. They also offer a few merit scholarships</p>

<p>I agree with rocket, I think your stats are definitely what Smith says they look for.</p>

<p>The main thing that has changed recently is your SAT score correct? I see you Math score in particular is much higher than it was before, good for you! SAT’s are optional at Smith of course, and so not much weighted in the process, but they are good “reinforcing metrics”, i.e. they give added weight to points you’re making anyway in your application. For instance, if you say you want to be a professional writer, and then you can show good grades in your english classes, and on top of that show a perfect SAT writing score, that all reinforces the image that you’re serious about writing and likely have some real talent.</p>

<p>yeah your stats were a bit like mine-maybe even slightly better, and I got in ED…so good chance for sure!
