Our school doesn’t have science Olympiad or any academic clubs other than AC Dec but I cant do because I have tennis during that period. I have universities by me but none of them were willing to allow me to do physics research. Tennis takes up a significant portion of my time so I cant join many clubs so anything I do I have to do in the summer

I can write essays pretty well and my Teacher recs should be good.

I really don’t know what else to put so just tell me if you need more. Thx

You sound like a strong candidate for either.

I do suggest you consider getting more practice or help with timed essays, which likely have been bringing down your AP scores. (Useful skill anyway.) Be sure to have someone proofread your application essays and learn from any mistakes found. Good luck!

thanks for the input

You are a strong candidate. With great essays I could see you getting into Rice and perhaps Vanderbilt

i’m not familiar with rice, but i can say you seem like a darn good candidate for vanderbilt. good luck!

I believe that you are a strong candidate for both schools. Each of these schools has a very different vibe. Good luck

Vanderbilt takes a higher percentage of its class in the early decision rounds (ED and ED2) than Rice does. If you really want to get in Vanderbilt, consider ED2. Rice does not have ED2.
