<p>Hello i'm new to this forum and i'm interested in what my chances for for Rice, Duke, UT Austin, and Brown University are! I will just be doing a brief summary of my "resume"</p>

<p>White Male (Texas resident)</p>

<p>GPA: 4.0 unweighted, 4.37 weighted</p>

<p>ACT: 32 Composite (32 English, 33 Math, 30 Reading, 32 Science)</p>

<p>Class Rank: 1/82 (From rural Texas town)</p>

<p>Classes: Although my school does not offer AP classes i'm taking the most rigorous classes. Will graduate with 24.00 hours of college credit and have maintained a 4.0 GPA in those dual enrollment classes.</p>

<p>National Honor Society President</p>

<p>Student Council Vice President</p>

<p>Class Vice President</p>

<p>Other Clubs/Organizations: HOSA, 4-H, FFA, FCA, Superintendent Advisory Committee</p>

<p>Captain on football team and I also play baseball </p>

<p>Class favorite Junior and Senior year</p>

<p>Homecoming King</p>

<p>Many other personal awards but honestly I don't feel like listing them</p>

<p>Over 100 Volunteer hours</p>

<p>You’re in at UT Austin. You have really good chances for Rice and Brown, and you’re a solid applicant for Duke. You look pretty good on paper (or technically, on the computer screen) but nothing really jumps out at me. Just make sure that you have unique essays and strong recommendations because they will probably be your deciding factors.</p>

Duke: Reach based on test score

<p>do you have any plans to take either ACT or SAT again? Not sure if you would have time. I just know a young man from my D’s class last year did not get Rice he was #5 in the class with a ACT of 34 and SAT of 2200…</p>
