<p>I'm a white male, rising senior from an upper-middle class family in a semi rural town in Mississippi.</p>
<p>Class rank: 5th/60. Small catholic boys school.</p>
<p>Test scores: 33 ACT (34E, 36R, 33M, 32) but going to retake</p>
<p>Grades: 3.98 unweighted, (only B was in Mississippi studies in 9th grade)</p>
<p>AP tests: English Language (5), US History (4). These have been the only ones available at my school so far. I'm taking English Lit, Biology, Physics, and Calc AB this year.</p>
<p>Classes: all honors or AP available, only big classes I'm missing are 3rd and 4th year languages, as they aren't offered at my school.</p>
<p>Service: I've done a bunch of work for my local catholic church, like teaching Sunday school, building improvements to the church, etc. I also tutor younger students at my school twice a week for about an hour each day, and last Spring Break I volunteered for a school trip to the Navajo Reservation in Arizona, where we worked on houses and farms for a week, while doing no touristy things.</p>

<p>Awards: scored in top 10% of biology students at Mississippi Math and Science Competition, and top 20% of chemistry students
Accepted to Mississippi Governors School, a summer program for extremely talented rising juniors and seniors where one is taught leadership skills and takes classes for college credit. Admission was very competitive. </p>
<p>I'm applying to the Ivies (specifically Princeton, Columbia, and Yale), UChicago, UVa, WashU, UCLA, Rice, UT, and Stanford, as an economics major. I would really love to be Chanced, for Rice more than others, but if anyone is willing, all would be great.</p>
