<p>Since there really isn't much concrete data on the admissions for preferred admission into Ross, I'd like to get a rough idea of my chances.</p>

Ethnicity: white
ACT: 34
SAT I: 2150 (640 CR, 800 M, 710 W)
GPA: 4.95/5 UW, 5.61/6 W
Class Rank: 8/494 (top 2%)
Course Rigor: hardest possible schedule
AP's: Human Geo (4), World History (4), US History (4), Statistics (5), English Language (5)
Current classes: AP Econ, AP Physics C, AP Calc BC, AP English Lit, AP Spanish</p>

<p>ECs:</p>

<p>-Math Team (possible captain): 3 years, 2-time state qualifier
-Varsity football: 4 years
-Spanish tutoring: 2 years
-NHS: 2 years
-Spanish Honor Society: 3 years
-Interact (community service club): 2 years</p>

<p>Awards:
-American Mathematics Compeition Grade 10 + 12 champion (as soph and junior)
-National Merit Commended Scholar (PSAT: 209)
-AP Scholar With Distinction
-4 semester honor roll etc.</p>

<p>No, I think being OOS also “hurts” you, but I think your stats/resume is strong enough to compete in the OOS applicant pool “anyway”.</p>

<p>Academically you look good, but Ross does like to see some kind of leadership and/or business type ECs which I don’t see. So I’m not sure… you’re set for LSA though.</p>

<p>Yea I had highly similar stats to you, but the one thing that tipped me over I think was my work experience. I was an international though so I had slimmer chances than you, I think you’re set for Ross</p>

<p>There never is a good chance with Ross. It is a reach for all applicants. The OP has a good shot at LSA, but only an “ok” shot at Ross PA.</p>
