<p>Hi, please chance me for RPI, please me real though. If i don't stand a chance, say so. i just want to know where i stand.</p>

<p>High school GPA.... NOT SURE REALLY AVERAGE B- OR B I think. only one AP classes though... high school rank is probably within top 50%, it is not a competitive school. i just didn't find a reason to study until my senior year...
Excellent recogmendations from 3 teachers, 1 english teacher,1 chemistry teacher, 1 math teacher.- i think they know me so well. </p>

<p>EC.- ouch.... i will be honest.... 11 grade humanities club member, band member for 3 years, no sports, but i'm part of the band in church-not sure if that counts. </p>

<p>SAT SCORES..
Math 740, Reading 610, Writing 700....
Just took it once.</p>

<p>I'm a first generation immigrant to the US. Came 2 years ago sophmore year...I live with two grand parents whom i have to take care of.
I think i have a hearttouching essay about my life, and what i want to do with my life from this point on.</p>

<p>I want to major in civil engineering, because i think i will be able to contribute to the US. Possibly apply for ROTC and surve in the army.</p>

<p>Your SAT is really great but then your GPA and Rank hurt you.
it depends on your ec’s and awards but
i think you can get in if the essay is great.</p>
