You have a good chance at all of those! Show lots if interest at Tulane and BC. If you are out of state, William and Mary will be a challenge as well. The good news is, you are going somewhere gteat! Best of luck!

Where do you live? You have a good shot at W&M (the only one I know about and guys have a better acceptance rate) if you’re in state – but one thing that you might consider when you present your activities: Colleges tend to like to see years of involvement. Some of your activities include that long-term commitment, but many don’t. Think about what presents you in the best light. Personally I think that shows you’re open to new things, but some colleges might not think that way. Your overall SAT is great and really the math isn’t bad, but just looks low in comparison to the crazy high English score. Have you looked at taking the ACT? Your math might be higher on there.

Hi seniormom2021, thanks for your reply! I live in New Jersey. I appreciate your input regarding the clubs. Many of thee clubs I was a part of were run by seniors and kind of “fizzled out” after they graduated, which is the reason I couldn’t be involved long-term (unfortunately I’m guessing there’s no way of way for colleges to know that, right?) I did take a practice ACT at my school and got a 31, which I believe is about equivalent to my SAT score.

Tulane definitely show interest. It’s absolutely vital to do so and write a phenomenal why tulane essay. Same thing with american. Honestly when I visited BC I didn’t get the impression they really cared about interest. Your into Rutgers for sure. This is a good list tho.

I was accepted into W&M and waitlisted by Boston. Tbh it’s very subjective. I think W&M cares a lot about your writing supplement and ECs. I got an 1140 on my SAT, 23 on ACT and have a 3.791 but was still accepted into W&M and others with 1400 and 4.5 were waitlisted or denied so it depends. They want to see that you’re a well rounded person and student. So just hope for the best and wherever you end up next year, you’ll be fine.
