<p>Pacific Islander/Asian, Female, wanting to major in Chemistry, live 40 mins away from SDSU but want to dorm 1st year or two</p>

<p>• SAT (breakdown): 1670; Reading 590 Writing 530 Math 550
• 2nd SAT (breakdown): 1810; Reading 640 Writing 590 Math 580
• SAT II: US History 700
• ACT: 26
• Unweighted GPA (out of 4.0): 3.9
• Weighted GPA: 4.4
• AP (place score in parenthesis): World History (3), Language Arts(3), US History(4)
• Senior Year Course Load: AP Calculus AB, AP Biology, AP Literature, AP Government, AP Physics, ASB
• Percentile: Not sure the exact number, but definitely in top 9 percent.
• Extracurriculars (place leadership in parenthesis): JV Swim(1 year), JV Track(1 year), ASB (4 years), Several clubs (but no leadership)
• Honors: National Honor Society, California Scholarship Federation, Scholar Recognition Award (having an accumulative 4.0+ GPA in my school, only about 25 people get this)
• Job/Volunteer Experience: Pretty much none</p>

<p>I just checked and I’m not in SDSU’s “local admissions” but I’m still not too far away from the school. Hoping I still have a chance to get in. I know they’ve been very picky these last few years :confused: Does anyone know the acceptance rate last year?</p>

<p>With a GPA like that you are definitely in. The GPA to get into a CSU is less stringent than a UC. </p>

<p>Getting into a CSU is all about test scores and your GPA that’s it. I’d say you have a pretty good chance especially with your high GPA. </p>
