Hello! I am currently a high school junior and I'm beginning to start my college search. I am incredibly articulate and (not to sound cocky) adults generally love me because I am well spoken.

I went to SLC's prospective students day and absolutely fell in love with the school. At this point, I'm pretty sure I'll apply early.

I go to a fairly prestigious small academic magnet (with about a 10% acceptance rate) in a large city (in the top 5 in the US). My school grades on the 5's (so we can only earn a 65, 75, 85, or 95)

GPA: 3.5 uw, 3.62 w (the highest possible GPA at my school is a 3.88)
PSAT: 210 (which is like a 2100 SAT)

My school doesn't offer any AP's or honors courses. I take all of the hardest classes available to me.

I am on the debate team, and I am ranked the top debater in my city. I was eligible to compete in the national forensic lead national tournament but due to budgetary constraints I was unable to go. Hopefully I'll compete this year.

I am president of my schools Model UN club.

I am in my school's running club and I have run a marathon and will complete a second marathon this October.

I have been taking classes (for college credit) at a large university for a year, I have a 3.6 GPA there.

I have a job, but I only work for 7 hours on Sundays.

To be honest I'm not really worried about my essay and recommendations, I'm pretty sure they'll be great.

If a school requires an interview, I can say with a good amount of certainty that my interview will be fantastic. I'm articulate and good on my feet, so I make very good first impressions.
