Hey, i’m also applying to Stanford SCEA!
Your stats are definitely looking good. If you’re essays are as up to par as your teacher thinks, the only thing that can really hold you back are test scores. However, Stanford seems to be pretty lenient on test scores compared to it’s east coast counterpart, so i think you definitely are a very strong canidate.

thanks! i think my sat and sat ii scores are a little low? and i also didn’t get straight 5’s either. hopefully, i’ll do well on the October stuff. do you think test scores might be a deciding factor…i hope not.

If you dont get in, it would probably be because of the scores, so retaking would never hurt. However, i think you’re still a strong applicant without any score increase.
AP scores generally dont play a super large role.

since i’m doing scea i can’t really take anything else besides the 2 sat ii’s im taking in october unfortunately.

I would say for an ORM from an overrepresented state, I’d shoot for higher scores and apply RD.

hmm. so, higher scores as in sat’s again or just sat ii’s?
