Chance me for Smith?

I just interviewed and toured Smith College today and fell in love. I’m going to be applying Regular Decision in January (not Early Decision II because I’m scared of getting a bad financial aid package OR getting accepted into my reach school, Wellesley.) However, I’m nervous that, like so many other colleges, Smith has been getting more difficult to get into, and I just will have bad luck in making the cut.

AP courses: (Note that will go into extra info section on common app: My school doesn’t offer AP classes to students until their senior year.)
AP Gov
AP English and Literature
AP Physics
*I am also doing an independent study this year of high school at the French V and French AP level, but because I’m the only student in the course, it is not official on my transcript or through collegeboard. I likely will not take the French AP test because it is on the same day of my government test.

Note: I am planning on majoring in English and Literature, which I think are clearly my academic strengths, given my test scores.

You will definitely get accepted to Smith College! You are a well rounded student, excelling in all areas! You should be proud of yourself! & I think you even have a good chance at getting into Wellesley, best of luck to you!!

I got in!
