Chance me for some Big 10's -- I'll chance back if you leave a link

Well I'm not a jaw-dropping A+ student, but I'm pretty proud of myself, although I think I could do better. But let me know what you think.

5 Years @ Park District as Umpire
4 Years @ Baseball training facility as party supervisor

Reccomendations:
AP Lang teacher- brought me from a D-writing student in regular English to solid A writing. Constantly tells me how proud he is and how much of a success he considers me to be. Also brags to other teachers about how he really feels he has made an impact on me (the other teachers have told me about this).

Dean- close family friend. Also the DECA supervisor, making us even closer. She's had to issue me a few detentions for being tardy/having my phone out in class, but we're always laughing and talking. She loves my parents and says I'm a great kid.

Schools:
Indiana (Bloomington)
Wisconsin (Madison)
Iowa
Minnesota (Twin Cities)
Michigan
UIllinois (UIUC)
Miami-Ohio
UC-Boulder

Let me know what you think about me getting into these schools. I know that my grades, statistically, aren't anything impressive, but I think it's the things that I've accomplished in the business world, and real life, that are extremely impressive. Owning a Web Developing company and booking concerts are pretty intense things for a kid in high school to be doing, and I hope admissions officers realize that.

Indiana- High Safety
Wisco- Match
Iowa- Low Match
Minnesota-Low Match
Michigan- Low Reach
UIUC- Match
Miami (OH)- Low Match
Boulder- In

You are a lot more than your grades indicate. I fully expect you to get in all but UMich. Good luck! Chance back if possible at http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1055573-i-know-its-early-but-chances-junior.html

State schools tend to be statistics driven so I wouldn’t rely on your ECs to overcome that GPA at the tougher schools.

Indiana - High Safety/Low Match
Wisconsin - High Match/Reach (per their site 25th-75th%tile GPA 3.5-3.9)
Iowa - high Safety/Low Match
Minnesota - Match
Michigan - Reach
UIUC - Match/Low Reach
Miami(OH) - High Match/Low Reach
UCBoulder - Safety/Low Match

As you know the killer is your GPA. For some of your schools it may blow you out of he water before they even look at the ACT (Michigan, Wisconsin and maybe even Illinois). My guess is that Michigan and Wisconsin will be “No” while everyone else will probably be a “Yes”. Iowa has a straightforward formula ( [Admission to Iowa’s Regent Universities: Regent Admission Index](Regent Admission Index | Board of Regents State of Iowa) ) plug in your numbers and see where it comes out (make sure and use the OOS hurdles).

miami’s much easier to get in than y’all are making it out to be… so safety for everything but uillinois and wisco, which are matches, and Michigan, which is a slight reach. btw, what artists do you work with? I’m in the hip-hop game a bit as well
