Our Hundred Year old school didn’t have a chess club for some reason, and as this was a hobby I enjoyed, I decided to found the club to find people to play with and help bring the clubs to others. Became one of the biggest clubs in the school and maintains a good amount of members.
Science National Honors Society VP 11th Grade - Present
Organize guest speakers to come to our school from the local research facilities, help promote interest in science in our school and encourage people to take on the “horror” that is AP Science classes.

Gave speech to the school and handle one of the largest clubs in the school’s budgets, help coach underclassmen on classes to take to get NHS and eventually get into a good strip club.

Talked about how my HEAVILY (70% Minority) diverse school had lots of opportunities for tutoring and extra help and really needed it. Tutor during every study hall period, and often tutor those who can’t even speak English using my rudimentary Spanish skills to teach English, Basic math, etc.

[] Strengths: Leadership and How I sold myself to the admissions officers that I would be a “Catalyst to the success of their class”, ROTC (Definitely a plus if theyre looking to expand)
[] Weaknesses: No major sciency awards for being an engineering major, Princeton interviewer warned me some places may view scouting NEGATIVELY! GPA could be a little better as could test scores
