Chance me for some Ivy League Schools

Okay so I'm applying to some Ivy League schools and I was just wondering if anyone can tell me what my chances are of getting into any of them. I don't need specifics for each school but just a rough estimate if which ones, if any, I can get into. I am applying to Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Columbia, Brown, MIT, and UPenn. Also I'm applying to Johns Hopkins University and Stanford (I know these last two are not Ivy League schools but I would still like to know if I stand a chance). So right now I'm going to tell you a little about about myself.

Academics:
-I have a high school GPA of 3.98 (unweighted, my high school doesn't weigh grades because it doesn't offer any AP or IB courses)
-I am duel enrolled at my local community college and I have been a full time college student while in high since my junior year. I have taken the most rigorous courses my high school offers and some really tough college courses. My college GPA is a 3.95.
-I got an 1890 on the SAT (which is the highest score in my high school class).

Extracurricular:
-National Honor Society (This year I am an officer)
-Key Club (Last year I was an officer)
-ASB (I was an ASB Officer for 2 years)
-Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society (This is a collegiate 2-year honor society)
-TRiO Upward Bound (I participated the summer program and was one of the top students)
-Class Treasurer
-FBLA
-I am a mentor to younger high school students as a part of a mentoring program.
-I participated in of the most prestigious high school medical program/internships in my state that was 6 weeks long.

Community Service:
Right now I have about 200 hrs of community service, which is quintuple what my high school requires to graduate.

Honors and Awards:
-High School Honor Roll
-I'm on the Deans/Presidents list at my community college.
-Discuss Awards Winner
(I have quite a lot more awards but this post is already getting pretty long so I'm just gonna leave it at that)

So that is just a little piece of what I have to offer. I am a Hispanic Student that has undergone many hardships in my life. I consider myself to be a worthy applicant given the extreme rigor of my classes and my pretty high GPA. I know I don't have the best SAT scores ever, but I believe I make up for it in many other ways. So what are my chances...

Where are you from? Do you have a class rank? What college classes have you taken? What is the breakout of your SAT score? Is your family low income? Did your parents go to college?

Even though you’re a URM and you have great GPAs, that SAT will not cut it. Get it up to a 2100 and you will have a shot (in the dark) at them.

I am from the western side of the United States. My class rank is 2 out of 85 (The reason I’m not number 1 is because the person above me is taking easy classes and our grades aren’t weighted). Yes I do come from a low-income, single parent household. And no my parents did not go to college. I don’t quite understand what a breakout SAT score is though. I’ve taken college courses like Anthropology, Psychology, Economics, Philosophy, Advanced Composition, American Government, College Math, Chemistry, and Logic, all at the college level. I was one of the top students in all of these courses.

I do not plan on retaking the SAT again so a 2100 probably isn’t going to happen. I’ve taken the test twice already and the deadline to register for the upcoming SAT has passed, besides any score I would get now wouldn’t count anyways because it’s too late. I would have had to have taken the early December SAT for it to count. Are you sure I don’t cut it? I’ve met people with lower SAT scores, a lower GPA, and less extracurricular activities than me and they got into schools like Stanford and Columbia?

Zero chance due to your SAT. You should consider lower tier universities and not waster your time with unrealistic aspiration. :(

Would you please chance me back?
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1246909-chances-cal-poly-ed-engineering-major.html

Really, okay I understand. I had thought that with a good amount of extracurricular activities and a good GPA I stood a chance. Who knows, maybe I do. I’m still going to apply anyways, even if I don’t get in I still want to know. And yeah I’ll chance you back:)

I think you have a chance. You will be looked out in the context of where you come from and what your opportunities have been. It sounds like you’ve done very well within your environment and that will interest many colleges.

I will say, however, that while these schools are worth a shot, your SATs are low for them so you should add some less selective schools too.

There are many wonderful schools that rank just below these very top schools where you would have a much better shot. Schools that don’t see as many Hispanic applicants or applicants from environments like yours.

So if you tell us what you’d like to study and what parts of the country you’re open to, we can give you some thoughts.

Well being from an extremely small town in Oregon, I am pretty much open anywhere. And I am applying to some lower tier schools, but I just wanted to be chanced at the higher tier ones. Actually one of my top choice schools isn’t an ivy league school.

I want to go into medicine so any school with an amazing pre-med program would be great!

There are lots of LACs that are great for pre med. I thing you’d do especially well at those in the mid West and South that don’t see as many Hipanic applicants. Look at Carleton, Macalester, St. Olaf, Grinnell, Rhodes, U Richmond, Rollins. On the E. Coast Bates, Colby, Colgate, Bowdoin, Trinity are all very good schools.

For larger schools look at Emory, Vanderbilt, Boston College.
