chance me for some private schools please?

<p>Hi,</p>

<p>I was wondering if anyone could give me chances of getting into these schools. I'll be applying through the Tuition Exchange program, if anyone has heard of it, because my mom is a university professor.</p>

<p>Just to warn you, my GPA Is reeallly low. I mean embarrassingly really low. </p>

<p>Rising senior, class of 2015.
Planning to major in creative writing or journalism, with a music minor.</p>

<p>Junior Year GPA UW: 2.75 (I know)
SAT Score: 1750, retaken on June 7th so waiting for scores.
Gender: Female
Race: White and Cherokee (actually prominently, not like 1/1000th.)
Planning on taking SAT II Literature and Latin.</p>

<p>AP Classes I have taken/am planning on taking:
AP English Language & Composition
AP English Literature & Composition
AP Government
I also take Latin? Not sure where to fit that in here. It's just regular Latin but it's I, II, and III</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
I have played violin for 6 years as of now.
This will be my third year in string ensemble, I am Assistant Principal Second Violinist (4th best violinist in orchestra)
I was in the pit orchestra of the school musical.
I will have been in marching band for two years, will be pit captain senior year
I am in the front ensemble of Incognito Drum and Bugle Corps.
President and Co-founder of my school's Young Feminists Club
Active in my school's Junior Classical League
I volunteer in various community service projects but I couldn't give you an estimate of hours right now.</p>

<p>Now for the schools...</p>

<p>Top Choices:
Agnes Scott College
George Washington University</p>

<p>Others:
Dominican University of California
University of Redlands
University of Puget Sound
Hamline University
Chapman University</p>

<p>Safeties:
University of La Verne
Prescott College</p>

<p>Thank you so much!</p>

<p>Have you considered Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO? If you are registered with your tribe you can go there tuition free (if admitted).
<a href=“Native American Tuition Waiver | Scholarships | Fort Lewis College”>http://www.fortlewis.edu/financialaid/NativeAmericans.aspx&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

<p>Dragonflygarden - I am still in the process of registering with my tribe, but thank you for the info!</p>

<p>I don’t know all of these schools, but I know Hamline. I would say it is a match for you. Your Native American ethnicity is a hook for you, so if your test scores are the 25-50% range for these schools you will have a good shot at them. Have you had an upward trend in GPA since freshman year? That can also help.</p>
