<p>I sort of messed up since I didn't take any honors or AP classes my freshman or sophomore year due to home and family problems . I really slacked off my freshman year, but became a lot more serious and became more dedicated to my studies starting my soph year. </p>

<p>I worked at a restaurant during the summer after my sophomore year, and I'm going to work at a retail shop.</p>

<p>I have currently been running a successful YouTube channel were I have been making reasonable revenue since 2010 (And yes it is appropriate content :P ) </p>

<p>Please, scratch UCs off your list; they are unaffordable due to the UCs offering very poor aid to out-of-staters.</p>

CU-Boulder: Low match
U Oregon: Low match
U Utah: Safety
CSUF: Low match
CSULB: Match
SJSU: Low match</p>

<p>Boulder would be too expensive too. I wouldn’t cross the UCs off your list.
I’d say if you get your ACT score up you’re in good condition for many of these schools. UCLA is a high reach, UCSB is a low reach, and Cal Poly SLO is a high match.</p>
