Chance me for some UCs? c: I'll chance back!

Hi! I'm an incoming senior from California, and I'm just wondering where I stand at the moment, haha. It would be great if you guys could chance me for some UCs, in particular UCD, my dream school. I'd also like some feedback on UCI, UCSD, UCSB, and USC if that isn't too much. :)

SAT I (breakdown): 2030 (580 CR, 710 M, 740 W)

Unweighted GPA (out of 4.0): 3.6ish

My stats aren't stellar... but what are my chances, assuming my essays are decent? :3 Thank you in advance!

I think you have a shot at the UCs, but make sure you keep up your GPAs. I also might suggest to go over your schedule again for senior year because having a slightly lighter load with good grades will increase your GPA. I mean, you dont have to take 5 APs, I would recomened 2 or 3 and focus more on them so that you can get better grades in them. Good Luck XD!

Chance me!

a 3.75 GPA unW and a 3.9 W

taken several AP and honors courses throught HS (6 total)

Clubs in:
NHS(on board)
PAL (on board)
math club
bowling club
science olympiad
Red Cross(president)

on track to get gold cord for community service hrs. (total so far is like 300 and end of senior yr, most likely 450 hrs)

SAT score total: 1550

My top colleges:
UC Berkeley
USC
CSU: East Bay
California State Polytechnic University: Pomona
San Jose State University
Stanford (maybe, i dont think so, but i will try)

USC: reach
UCSD: low reach
UCD: high match
UCSB: match
UCI: match

@poppyoman O_O a lot of those schools you listed are a really high reach, but it’s only because of your SAT score. UCB/USC have particularly low acceptance rates, and these are students who have SAT scores of 2250+ and rigorous ECs. SJSU is a match, I believe. c: I don’t know enough about the others to tell you, but study those for those SATs! Aim for at least 2100.

@scderek4 Thanks!

…(Bump. Please help, guys :c)

your stats aren’t bad… not great though. UCD, UCSB, UCI all are good matches for you. USC on the other hand, might be difficult.

chance me on my thread?

All matches except USC might be a low reach.

I think they are all a match besides USC which I think might be a low reach. USC can be weird through, I know a kid who transferred in with a 2.8 GPA. No idea what happened there, I saw the email they sent him and everything stating his GPA. So with that said I think you’ll get into your dream school, take a lighter course load to keep they GPA up and try to lead a club, even create one. School love that leadership role. CHANCE ME BACK NOW PLEASE!

I think they are all matches for you. Your test scores are well in the 75% range at the UC schools which can compensate for a lower (not bad but slightly low) GPA. You EC are solid and can make u stand out to an admissions committee.
good luck.
chance back!?!?
