Chance me for spring transfer to NYU/Emory/BU

I'm an International Student from Central America. Hispanic/White (Spanish and German descent). We don't use GPA, so I'll just list my grades as they give them to me (Out of 100. 70 is pass).

HS Average: 72/100
College Average (Completed 3 semesters, 6 classes per semester, 8 credit hours each): 93/100. 4th in my class of 45.
SAT's: Verbal 710; Math 570; Writing 630.
TOEFL Paper-based: 673
EC's:
- Founded first student-run newspaper on campus, editor for the first year.
- Helped run Senator's gubernatorial campaign youth committee.
- Screenwriting is my favorite hobby.
- I run for half an hour everyday (I guess it's not really an EC but they asked for athletics and well, that's what I do)

Reasons for transfer:
- Academic challenge and course flexibility of schools
- Sexual orientation (it's hard to find fulfilling personal development if you're gay in Central America)

Very good recommendations: the Dean knows me very well and my faculty recommendation came from a teacher in whose class, Sociology, I scored a 97. She told me she'd written that I'd been maybe her best student in 17 years teaching university.

I've never applied to BU or Emory. I was rejected from NYU as a freshman entry (not surprisingly). I really have no idea of what my chances might be. Any thoughts?

Oh, right, applying for International Relations major, which is what I’m majoring in here (you choose it from the outset over here).

Lol, how’d you end up with a 1.7 HS GPA? I just want to know.

you can’t apply as International Relations at NYU. IR is an Honors majors that only certain Politics majors can APPLY for, usually in their sophomore or junior year.
