Chance me for Stanford 2022?

Stanford is definitely top choice and my guidance counselor thinks I have a chance, but I’m not sure! Would appreciate another opinion!

GPA: 4.0 UW, 4.84 W (Probably top 3 in my class but my school doesn’t release rankings :(. Class is about 900 people)
SAT: N/A
ACT: 36

  • Rhythmic Gymnastics for 14 years, Made US National team in 2015
  • ~250 volunteer hours neutering cats and dogs at my local animal shelter
  • Student body president
  • Founder of my high school’s NHS Chapter
  • Model UN (treasurer)
  • Enviro Club (president)
  • Founded startup that instills life skills in underprivileged children through playing checkers and chess
  • High School intern for my state senator
  • US Senate Page
  • Two week program at Stanford over the summer

I’m also a quadruple legacy (both parents and grandparents)

Those are some amazing stats, especially your accomplishments in gymnastics.

I am 99.99% sure you will get in. Don’t worry about it. Without the legacies I would still say that you would still be accepted, so with them you are a sure thing.

Stanford acceptance rate is obviously insanely low but your accomplishments (especially in gymnastics) are outstanding. The legacies only give you another leg up. Obviously, there is no guarantee, but you definitely have a very high chance. Good luck!

I am just curious that, do you guys really believe a kid with such stats + hookS would bother to ask for “chance me”?
