Don’t hold your breath for Stanford/MIT. You’re a female going into engineering, which is a hook in itself, but in terms of CS/eng-related ECs, you’re lacking. I’d say both are high reaches for you. UCB engineering is toouggh to get into… again, the missing ECs are hurting you here. Don’t count yourself out, though! Berkeley, as you may well know, has taken a liking to OOS students in recent years, and your scores are within a feasible range. I’d call this a mid reach, perhaps a low reach. UIUC I honestly don’t know much about… but I hope you get in, because I know they’re great in both CS and EE.

You’re a good applicant, but the fact that you’re a female engineering applicant will help you a lot.

Stanford and MIT are tough; I wouldn’t count on them (I wouldn’t think anyone should), but I wish you good luck with those anyway. I think you will likely get into the others, though.

I think you’re in at UCB and UICI.

Thanks for the replies!
I agree on Stanford/MIT - I applied for kicks and giggles mostly.

you will get in i hate how people think its all about numbers and its not my auntie is the admissions officer at uc berkley she told me she doesnt care about the numbers past a certain point and trust me your way past that point after that they look at your essay to see what makes you special what makes you …YOU!

You should get into University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Good luck!
