<p>URM is a huge advantage… but HYPSM/Ivies are unpredictable, so make sure your essays + interviews are solid!</p>

<p>just a question, why is your AP spanish so low?</p>

<p>you have good shots at UCs, decent ones at pomona and rice, ok at Stanford. urm helps a lot. </p>

<p>Spanish isn’t my first language, and I only learned it throughout middle and high school. I was actually almost surprised I got a 3…:\ I did my best, and now I’m proficient in Spanish as far as the College Board is concerned. I can cook up one hell of a tortilla, though.</p>
