I’m planning to apply as a biomedical engineer with the intention of going premed. Not quite sure.

SAT Essay: 13/24 (I’ve never taken it before. Not my finest performance)

I’m taking SAT subjects in bio, math II, and maybe chemistry

Your best angle for your essays is the research involving bio at a university. Other than that, there’s nothing related to your major, though you have an impressive course schedule. While your chances at Stanford are increased from legacy, you have roughly as much of a chance as the actual acceptance rate for admission.

Tbh your ecs don’t really show you as a biomed student but I like your solid transcript . Maybe you should focus on schools like UCI, and UCSD as backups? There’s nothing wrong with shooting for Stanford, but it’s going to take a lot more imo

Shoot your shot at stanford but your application isn’t impressive enough to be a “get into stanford”. Just to be realistic but STILL TRY. Just keep expectations low. its stanford lol. Write killer essays and just hope.
