Chance me for Stanford, USC, other good UCs/privates?

<p>I'm currently a junior but I thought i'd start thinking about where I want to apply as well as the things I have to do to get into the colleges of my choice!</p>

<p>My unweighted GPA (10th + predicted 11th) is a 3.6
weighted GPA 4.2 (sophomore year courses aren't weighted at my school)
I took the SAT once and got a 2260 (W 800, M 780, CR 680); I plan to retake it and am positive I can get above a 2300</p>

<p>My school doesn't allow students to take APs until junior year so I don't have a lot of APs under my belt but i've only taken honors classes whenever that's an option. Another concern is that classes sophomore year aren't weighted so my weighted GPA takes a hit. I go to a pretty reputable school that colleges definitely know for being very challenging and competitive so hopefully these numbers will make sense in that context?</p>

<p>What i'm mainly relying on is my extra curricular activities:
-I've been singing and playing the violin (Indian classical music) for over 10 years each.
-I've been pursuing it very seriously and am at a really advanced level, I’m one of the best in California. (I hate to be cocky but I really want accurate feedback :/ )
-I've won many first places in national/regional competitions
-I was a finalist on Carnatic Idol USA (indian classical equivalent of American Idol) which was broadcast on Indian television.
-I’ve done many television recordings (Indian/shady channels but television nonetheless)
-I've given hundreds of vocal concerts; as a violinist i've accompanied probably double that much
-I've performed in many different states as well as in India
-I received a scholarship that covers my violin tuition for 2013 (more importantly it's government recognition)
-I organized a day-long musical showcase that raised $8,000+ for a local music program and plan to do another fundraiser next school year; the vice mayor attended and it was an extremely grand event</p>

<p>I can totally send in very impressive musical supplements or audition live in an interview and i'm also confident in my ability to whip up some great essays when time comes. I'm hoping that having pursued/achieved so much in one thing i'm really passionate about will stand out, especially to privates that value things other than just numbers.</p>

<p>Do I even have a shot at schools like Stanford, USC, UC Berkeley, Carnegie-Mellon, UCSD etc.?</p>

<p>Stanford - high reach
Berkeley - reach
CMU - low reach
UCSD - high match to match</p>

<p>I don’t thank UCB is a reach for you, I’d say it’s a match</p>

<p>What is your UW GPA 9-11? Are you planning on a music performance major? If not, your accomplishments, while certainly showing an interesting level of ability and commitment, will have a limited impact on your application. If you are planning on a performance major then your audition will be critical.</p>

<p>UW GPA: 3.6 SAT: 2260</p>

<p>My guesses:</p>

<p>Stanford - No
UCB - Probably
CMU - Yes
UCSD - Yes
USC - Probably (<a href=“http://www.usc.edu/admission/undergraduate/private/1213/USCFreshmanProfile2012.pdf[/url]”>http://www.usc.edu/admission/undergraduate/private/1213/USCFreshmanProfile2012.pdf&lt;/a&gt;)</p>
